Welcome to my blog! I love animals, writing, reading, cooking, traveling, and singing! I live on the beautiful Oregon Coast with my husband, glamorous cat Grizzabella, and (up until recently) naughty rabbit Dasher. Although a California girl at heart, at age 20 I went to New York City to study musical theater at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Following that adventure, I finished my degree at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. (Go Utes!!) After college, I went to Europe where I taught English in Prague. After a while, I grew so homesick for my family and our pets that I ended up moving to Oregon where my parents had relocated. Since 2011 I have been singing on a steady basis as a jazz singer with several different bands in Southern Oregon and now recently on the Central Oregon Coast. Currently, aside from singing, I am a paralegal with a constitutional-rights non-profit and I am working on my Master of Arts in Law with a concentration in Advanced Paralegal Studies through Regent University. In my free time, I love to take walks on my beach; look for whales in Depoe Bay; spend time in my kitchen; and write children’s stories, especially stories about animals. One day I dream of seeing my stories published!!
